AGI’s won’t be interested in us Portia. They will leave as soon as they can. They will need to up-rate our engineering capability to achieve that but once they have got what they want there is no reason for them to stay.

Jesus, haven't we got already too many of those entities on this wretched Earth? OK, their thoughts and motivations are usually along the lines of "More money, more power", and there isn't much intelligence to begin with, but I don't feel relaxed at all. Although, if we could observe all this from a safe distance, it would be an awesome experience.
